Are you ready to take the next big step in your career? We’re looking for an experienced Senior IT Engineer to lead our brand-new Managed Services department. This is a hands-on role, perfect for someone eager to step into management, build a team from the ground up, and make a real impact.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Initially, this role will be 50% hands-on support & resolution, 30% infrastructure and cloud, and 20% management leadership. As new clients come onboard, these responsibilities will shift, and we will bring on more technicians to support growth.
- Taking charge of our new Managed Services department, setting up processes, and driving service excellence.
- Providing hands-on technical support while taking a leadership role as the team grows.
- Working closely with clients to ensure their needs are met, and our services exceed expectations.
- Growing and developing the Managed Services team as we bring on new clients.
What We’re Looking For:
- Must have a valid driving license.
- Experience working with Microsoft-based business infrastructure, both on cloud and on-premise.
- Strong interpersonal skills, capable of effectively dealing with people and managing support tickets within SLAs.
- A Senior IT Engineer ready for a management role.
- 3+ years of experience in a 2nd/3rd line support position.
- Strong server and desktop experience.
- Knowledge of routing, switching, cloud-based and on-premise backup solutions, and enterprise antivirus software.
- Experience with hosted telephony solutions.
- Microsoft Associate level certifications are a plus.
